A-and yeah, those are slightly obvious. Loev boyfriend, protectively fond of vishir.

Morrolan thinks Soulcatcher is interesting to talk to, good at what she does and completely insane. The latter isn't important to him, though, when weighed against the other two; the man is BFF with Sethra Lavode and The Necromancer, after all, so he's used to a little bit of crazy. It's nice to have someone who's both general and sorcerer to talk to or contest with -- camp is pretty light on generals.

Catcher thinks Morrolan is utterly fascinating. He's like a complicated artifact left behind by the gods with a lot intricate, inscrutable moving parts. She badly wants to defeat him in a fight. ...And also she doesn't, because right now they've played to a draw on a few different fields and that leaves them in a really exciting state of suspension and uncertainty. She would feel the resolution of that uncertainty as a loss even if she came out of it victorious (but it'll be a cold day in hell before she's sane enough to admit it in so many words).

In short the only way he could be more interesting would be if he had PROPERTY OF LADY DO NOT TOUCH stamped on him somewhere.

This is interesting because they're such contrasts and yet sort of the same. Morrolan will readily admit that he has enormous respect for Castor, and they work together seamlessly and can rely on each other absolutely; with Vlad, that admission would have to be dragged out of him, but when the chips are down, Morrolan will always have his back. He and Castor understand each other almost instinctively at this point (which is why it's kind of disconcerting to him to have Castor deaged -- and also why he handles deaged!Castor fairly well). With Vlad, all the snark and teasing is almost comforting, though there's less of it than normal because camp is an environment he keeps having to dump information/plan tactically on, and also because he's relieved to have someone from the Empire here, and particularly Vlad. Even if he will never, ever admit it.)
