Barbara's face just draws me in. The whole perspective of it seems to come right there for me, then I take in the lateral details, like his hand, her red shoes (Shuts up silly old fan muses), the way she is braced.

Mreow~ I know that this is a bit random, considering that I don't actually recognise/know who these two characters are, but I had to leave a comment saying how much I really like this pictuar. I love the softness, the subdued watercolours because its in stark contrast to the assertive action being captured. The bleeding out of the background helps to creates overall a quiet, stillness about the piece, and the grainy texture makes it seem almost as if this is a memory, one that's been transferred onto canvas.

Okay, enough babbling from me now! Sorry about the waffling on.
