Hey you! Fork over the drabbles!

Oct 24, 2007 21:04

I probably shouldn't be doing this meme, since I am behind in just about every way possible, but I guess I should've thought of that before requesting things from about half the flist. LOL. And who knows, maybe this will help me get my fandom momentum back ...

MEME: The first fifteen people to comment on this post get to request a drabble (oh ( Read more... )

the flist is escaping me, books, internet, meme

Happy late LJ-versary! I didn't know people celebrated that. o_o

Thank you! And I think it might only be a very small corner of DCU fandom that celebrates it, lol. jen_in_japan is the first person I can remember posting about her lj-versary, and then a few other people did it and ... I am a sheep, so here I am! *grin*

Ooo, and William Gibson is wonderful! Even without the awesomeness that is fictionalized fandom, he just has such a unique way of looking at the world. *hearts*

And I'm happy that my artsies could make your life better. LOL. ^-^ Yours have certainly brightened mine! *loves your adorably cuddly Clark and adorably grumpy Bruce* :D

Yay! Happy (belated) LJ-versery!

It has been a wonderful time and I have so much to thank you for over the last year and a little...

But, nonetheless, I come with requests!

Um...

Clark/Bruce with the prompt "junk food." Your choice of drabble or doodle, of course.

Eeee, this is so cute! "Batman will not be defeated by sour cream" must go up there with "Bruce is better than cheese" as a classic line! I love the detail you spend on the dip, lol, and the ferocious concentration Bruce attacks it with. <3

And the image of the two of them watching football in the cave is delightful! *dances with glee*

LOL. Glad you liked that one! I guess you can't go wrong with Bruce and dairy products? =P

Batman never does do anything by halves. ^-^

The cave has so much state of the art ... stuff! lol. I can't imagine that they don't play with it once in a while. *grin* That and my Bruce muse was being workaholicy and needed to be somewhere where he could multitask.

Anyway, I'm happy to hear you liked this! I enjoyed writing it. :D

Thanks Sasha! *beams* It's been great having you here, too--LJ would not be the same without you! :D

(Also, according to your profile, you've been around since Valentine's Day 2004--your LJ is almost a kindergartener! LOL. I'm sure you were dying to know that *is weird* =P)

As for your art *points below* Savant looks kind of like a pouty girl ... and Creote was apparently too tall for my page, lol ... but, um ... yeah. :D

I love how Savant is curled into Creote like he needs protection or a safe haven.

Aww, he does actually like that! He's clinging to his giant tank of a teddy bear. :D

And yes, Creote is huge, lol, especially since I think I accidentally made him even bigger (or at least taller) than he is in the comics ... well, I guess more man for Savant then? =P

Anyway, I'm happy to hear that you liked this! Yay! Thanks for commenting. XD

Thanks so much, Yaz! I hope that you've been having a good year hereabouts, too! And I certainly do hope that there are more and that RL doesn't turn into a big hole of suck and ... suck us all away, lol. *crosses fingers* ^-^

And here is a Bruce for youuu! I couldn't get him to look much older than sixteen, though, so I think this is adolescent-prep-school-Bruce-with-puffy-hair. Hee. =P

Whoa! Is it just me or does he have a definite Oscar Wilde vibe going on? He has about the most adorable cheekbones I've ever seen...*gurgles*

Ahhh! Oscar Wilde! You're right! I thought he had ended up with some kind of general old-fashioned vibe, but I couldn't pin-point it. Bruce was a teenage fop! (Well, and Brucie still is =P)

And yay for adorable cheekbones! Thanks for the comment (and the gurgling ^-^)! *hugs*
