Ow, ow, ow, my heart. I like how Lois is trying so hard to still be tough after the knowledge that her life is never going to be the same-- worrying about Superman is one thing, but worrying about Superman AND Clark is just so much bigger. I can tell why Clark did what he did but what makes this more painful is knowing that this decision will lead to Lois engaged and raising their child with another man.

Augh, I knoww. :( Looking back on this moment (well, not necessarily this moment in my fic, but just the memory kiss/break up in general) is so hard knowing how irrevocably it changes their lives *sniff*
