Oh yay, you watched Nodame! :D

The exaggerated violence actually kind of disturbs me, but maybe I'm just a little too sensitive to that kind of thing. I know it's meant to be funny, but still. ^^; There hasn't been that much of it in recent episodes though, which is good.

I've heard a few samples of Tamaki Hiroshi's songs, and... well, let's just say he's a better actor than singer. XD; (At least, in my opinion?)

I'm probably becoming more immune to violence, as horrible as that sounds. Although it may be more of a "that doesn't really happen in real life (I hope) but just the idea of seeing someone so composed (Chiaki) getting all fed up with Nodame... makes me laugh" kind of thing. But you're right, and I'm glad to hear that there's less later on, as the story (and their relationship) develops.

XD I stumbled on some concert clips on youtube and... ah, he has a nice talking voice, but he can't really sing very well. No wonder I don't see much mentioned about his singing.

You should, it's such a good title. The last episode aired today, and I just caught on so you're not alone. There are soft subs floating around, and only two episode of hard subs to date. If you want the soft subs, let me know if you prefer torrents, or one of those free uploading sites. The latter might take a while though. If you can wait long enough, I don't mind sending over everything once I've d/led it all. I'm grabbing them episode by episode via torrents, so it will take a while. But let me know, I desperately want to bother people about this series. XDXD

& I'm here! I've seen you set to "busy" whenever I'm on MSN; then again I'm not on MSN as often as I use to be. Do poke me whenever you have a free minute though. As Eve can probably attest, I don't message anyone I think is busy with something more important. ^^

Either way would be good. I totally want to start with the series, since I like the manga. ^^ I can wait, I'm really busy with some personal stuff on my end and I can't see myself enjoying TV till hmm, Feb XDXD

I assume the manga and the drama are pretty much identical; I've never read the manga. I think one of the reason I adore this series is because of the actors. Both Tamaki and Ueno are so, so adorable off camera. Rambling aside, torrents can be found at d-addicts, if you're inclined to start immediately. Sorry to hear that you've got so much things going on. I hope things become much easier for you next year!

I would say the violence is actually done in slower motion than it usually would be, except Chiaki's face is so ridiculous in the background the first time he hits her (at their first piano lesson together)

XD I love his expressions! Even though his expressions are more or less the same since he's suppose to be the serious type, and incredulous at everything Nodame does, it cracks me up everytime.
