Long-distance Reading Question

I'm a new reader (a year's worth of reading and barely the double digits worth of readings to my name, for people who aren't me), but I'd love more practice. Standing against me is the fact that a) most of my social network that would allow me to practice reading with them is online and b) I'm nervous about reaching out to try to meet non-offline, ( Read more... )

I don't have any ideas or thoughts on the technology piece, but I will say that I've done reading for friends over the phone before and I think the process works fine. (Honestly, if there weren't such an expectation, I wouldn't bother to have folks shuffle when they're in person.)

If you use RWS, you can always send people to learntarot.com and having them click on the cards so they can see the images. Beyond that, I'm too low tech to be able to give any advice on web cams and such.
