The new Mary Greer

Has anyone read the new Mary K. Greer book "Who are you in the tarot"? I was considering buying it, but I'd be curious to hear any impressions of it. For one thing, I was wondering if she was using the same system for identifying personal cards as she did in "Tarot for your self"--numerology based on birthday alone, as opposed to name and birthday ( Read more... )

I don't know if it's helpful, but it is perfectly acceptable to choose a personal card to which you feel an affinity. Realistically, there are days when you don't "feel like yourself" so it stands to reason that your personal card can and will change. It took me a little while to get comfortable with freestyling, so to speak, but then I realized that readings were making more sense. If you have a favorite card already, maybe you can try using it as your personal card and see what happens. Good luck!
