Two questions

1. What do you think of doing free readings for someone?
2. Do you know any spreads related to friendships? I can only find love ones!

I frequently do free readings-I think it's important to be able to offer guidance when needed without it being clouded by money :-)

I have a couple of friendship spreads-but I'm off to bed now so I'll type them up for you tomorrow afternoon if that's alright?

Sorry, I've been a bit snowed under! Ok, I have another LJ which is just for tarot spreads-I've not updated it for a while but there are a few friendship spreads under the 'friendship' tag. It's called book_of_tarot and I'll add you to it now :-)

I do them all the time on a select few friends. They really like it and it's really nice for me to be able to do it for them!

When I had more time during the day, I would do free readings in one of the major cities in World of Warcraft. Yup, online readings in an MMO, for free. Although, I did have a couple of 500+ gold tips given, when gold was actually worth something (during Burning Crusade). They were fun, creeped some folks out, and scared a couple of folks away. Eh.

I used to think it wasn't appropriate for me to accept payment while an amateur, but people starting "tipping" me and now I do readings online for a very tiny fee ($.50/card). I will still do them for free but I have to be firm about not having people take advantage of that kindness...people don't realize that it's not a common courtesy like holding a door, it's hard work, even for an amateur! |3

Thanks! LOL. I found it while looking for an image that would illustrate a song I love: "Kiss the Rain" by Billie Myers.
