Man, for my speech I made a time capsule of our year that shall be opened in 2006... have you seen it in Mrs. Nall's room, or I wonder what she did with it... hmm. I really hope she didn't throw it away or something. But I doubt she would. Anyway, it was seriously the coolest thing, although I didn't receive a good grade on the project because, admittedly, it wasn't really a speech. Just an explanation of what was in it. I didn't fail, though, because of the creativity (yay me!) Those tarot cards are mighty nifty. Last year in my algebra class, there was this junior talking about how she was going to get her tarot cards read with a friend, but she was pronouncing it so it would rhyme with "carrot." After about 10 minutes I was like, do you mean ta-roh cards? And she argued with me (in a good-spirited way, of course) for the whole class until we brought in other opinions. She felt like a fool, but it was all in good fun. I love being right.
