Very short stories.

To sort out a bit of confusion in past comments, I'll clarify. I'm currently entering in stories into a 12-word short story competition. They don't have to be stories, they can also be - moments, descriptions. Each 'story' has to be 12 words or less. You can enter one story per week until the competition closes. Cause I didn't know you couldn't/shouldn't!

All I knew was the 5-7-5 thing. What other haiku-rules are there?

I don't think there's any rule against using "like" in a haiku.

The site is called 12words - I don't mind at all, spread the love. It's a promotion thing for some youth council. The only thing I ask is if you join and start posting, let me know your username, and please don't be one of the people who votes for every/their own story with five stars (you'll see what I mean), it's a bit pathetic.

I like #1, and think you should post #7 next. Very eerie and can either be taken as lovey-dovey or (as I did) like some surreal Frankenstein woman patched together from spare parts. I blame my imagination, but I really like it.
