Lord knows I misspent my youth. I wasted it, I squandered it on video games and bad TV shows.  Barbara Newhall-Follet wrote "House Without Windows" when she was 8, and completely rewrote it at 12. I spent mine being crazy, in various ways. I wouldn't say it was misspent, however.

It's never too late to have a misspent youth...

Your insightful posts make me feel lazy for posting photos of my turkey...laugh...

I completely wasted my youth and had a damn good time doing it. :)

P.S. we all say monumentally stupid quips. I made a good one earlier today that I won't share here and endure the stupidness all over again.

I think I need a piece of pumpkin pie.

Thanks for writing this. It was nice to learn a little more about you. I think your last two sentences apply to me as well. Oh, and the bit about the universality of the lonely and friendless child. =)

oh this is such a good post!!

I often wonder if I would do things differently too. I often wish I did more drugs b/c I feel like I never got that "experience" that others did. But then I think, that is just not me. I like who I am today, mostly, and I would not be that person if I had made different choices.

You totally are the sum of your parts, and you know you learn from your misspent youth too!
