Ah. I see that I cannot hide from you, Remus. I am worried. I am worried that this afternoon might be the last time I see some of my dearest friends. And I am worried about the fight, if I'm honest. I'm not as young as I once was. Nonetheless, I intend to fight and nobody is going to talk me out of it. I cannot possibly ask any of my students to do something that I am not prepared to do myself. I will see you at the gathering, I hope, before you leave. May fortune go with you.

Worrying about what we're about to undertake is perfectly normal, Minerva. Everyone is worried...but we're all determined to do our best as well. You have good people behind you. They won't let you down.
I will be honest. I wish you would not go to fight. I don't want to see you put yourself in that sort of danger, but I will not try to stop you from doing so. It's your fight as much as mine, and no matter how I might feel, I have no right to keep you or anyone else from taking part in it.
None of us are as young as we once were, but you've kept up with your defence practices and your skills are good. Trust them. Know your limits and heed them, and you'll be all right. I hope.
I'll try to stop by later. I think I'll have to pass on the whisky though. You really don't want a tipsy werewolf...we just have too many feet to trip over... :)

Thank you for your confidence in me. It means a lot. I think our practise sesisons paid off. I wish that nobody had to go and fight. I wish I could keep all of my students safe, past and present. To be honest, with Voldemort and Grindelwald before him, I feel as though I have spent my entire life fighting. I am worried, but I am also ready for this. Let's hope that we can bring this to an end. The alternative doesn't bear thinking about.
