Are you making your gingerbread heroes this year?
But of course! :D I haven't decided on a theme yet, though. Maybe just "general geekery" again.
Btw, I re-tweeted your Braille t-shirt tweet tonight. Hope you get some publicity! (Whee, from my, like, 30 followers...)

Both of the characters feel very real and true
I'm so glad to hear you say that. This is only my second time writing Ben (and the first was in a drabble), so, I was a little unsure.

Really interesting concept.
Despite the fact that Alicia's existence makes me roll my eyes a little in some ways ("Ben looks how he does; let's give him a blind girlfriend!" Subtle as always, Marvel), I do like them together, and I wondered if Ben would go to Matt, his lawyer and likely the only other blind person he knows, for some kind of advice. And then I looove the idea of Ben and Matt bonding over having sort of blue-collar backgrounds. Ben is totally the kind of guy Matt grew up around.
(And I can see where it would be easy to be led down the slash trail. I'm glad you didn't. It made for a more powerful story.)
Thanks. :)

having to think about what being blind would be like
This is interesting, because yeah, in a lot of ways he's not. I always wanted to see him have a conversation about that with Milla.
