Dude! I just watched it in December-January and fell in love with it, too! I have a couple of fairly recent posts in which I squee a lot. Pretty much my squee is: IROH. TEAHOUSE. TOPH. ZUKO!11!

Have you seen White Lotus on Dreamwidth? It's a fan community--primarily older fans, I think--and they recently had a Lunar New Year exchange with some really great fics. I also asked for recs in a recent post and got a boatload of good ones.
