Hooray!
Dark Horse has announced five upcoming B.P.R.D. titles. That's exciting enough, but it's the promo illustration that has me smiling.
Because... kitty! Kitty kitty kitty kitty kitty! I mean, just look at that guy. Doesn't he just make you want to bury your face in his soft, blood-red werejaguar fur for the fifteen seconds before he disembowels you? Okay, so the framing of the picture vaguely reminds me of the painting Saturn Devouring His Son and there's really no guarantee that, werejaguar or not, that's Ben. It could be some other werejaguar, hypothetically. We know there was more than one (though the other one we knew about is ostensibly dead) and this guy doesn't seem to have Ben's trademark scar.
But it might be Ben.

Also, I've spent most of the day picking paint out of my hair. I've spent the last week or so redoing my room and, now that the paint has dried, it almost looks like a human lives in it. I can't even begin to convey the enormity of this improvement.

And then suddenly, Yuletide! My assignment is undoubtedly going to be a challenge for me (if only because I instinctively make things way, way too complicated), but I'm totally pumped.
And terrified, also terrified. Yes.
