Bruce/Tony makes much more sense to me than Steve/Tony. I guess I prefer relationships to grow out of friendship rather than antagonism.

I'm not that familiar with Steve and Tony's dynamic outside of the film (and, well, Civil War -- my Marvel 616 experience is still basically limited to "All Nick Fury, All The Time"), but I gather they're not always that acrimonious.

At the end of the day, I'm all for any relationship and/or pairing that results in Bruce Banner getting the hug he so sorely needs. That's all I'm saying. ;)

And, yes. Avengers and Bruce/Tony friendship. I love them so hard. I still can't decide whether to be grateful or pissed at Joss for making me love the Hulk so damn much with this movie.

You know what, I'm kind of torn on that point, too. We've had two Hulk movies already -- two! -- and the chances we'll be seeing another one soon, given how poorly they performed, probably aren't high. I fear the upcoming movie-inspired cartoon may be all we see of him for a long time. :(

OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG AVENGERSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. I feel you. I feel you. At first I was so happy to ship everyone in all combinations and want all the gen and broships (Bruce&Tony sciencebros! Clint&Natasha spybros!), as well, but I've realized that's a bit unfortunate because there isn't enough time in the day to read ALL THE FIC in this active fandom.

Oh god, the fic. I don't even know where to start with the fic.

See, at least with X-Men: First Class I had the common sense to get in on the ground floor but, noooooo, I had to let The Avengers percolate a while before jumping into fandom. And now everything's huge and scary and I don't even know, man.

At this point, I'm operating on the premise that Bruce/anyone can't go wrong (... probably). The rest will have to wait. :P
