I highly doubt sending letters to the outside world will work, mon amie~. They will most likely end up in the dead letter office in Westport.

Unfortunately, I myself am proof zhat zhose on zhe outside do not even realize zhat zheir fellows are gone.

[He sounds annoyed, because this is him admitting to a serious oversight.]

Several of zhe men zhat I vherk vith heff been here for months, und yet I can remember seeing zhem back home up until zhe day I too was taken here. Zhis had led me to believe zhat none of us are our original selves.

My, it feels almost lonely to think that while we suffer, we go un-missed by friends and allies. What a dreadful existence, wouldn't you say?

I vhouldn't call it suffering, Fraulein.

[Maybe it's because he's new, but to Medic, this place is almost pleasant. He has a secure job and a family and a whole new life to live, far away from RED or BLU or any of his past. He's enjoying that.]

Besides, most of your comrades are also here, ja? Mine are, so I assume...
