I imagined that school would keep us busy...but endlessly filling out numerous amounts of pointless worksheets that repeat the same thing are as much of a punishment as scrubbing the classrooms clean. It's finished. Finally. That took a lot longer than expected. But at least I finished it before classes restarted.

I think I've figured out what I've been doing so wrong. It's stupid that I had to figure it out because one of Oshitari's books fell open when I was trying to get out of our room, though. I suppose it's best to play along with these evaluations. But if you've been on the island for less than a month, I believe it would be better to downplay your abilities. They won't have had enough time to collect the data.

Nobody takes any other action. We can't afford to do anything. I've learnt my lesson. Five students missing, one dead. We can't afford to investigate anymore. They're cracking down, so we need to all plan together or not at all. For now, I want to leave it. The drug analysis came through, Shiraishi. It's a painkiller. It can cause sleepiness, but a lot of painkillers do. However...I remember the chemical composition. It can slow the brain's functioning down while under the influence of the drug. I'd be cautious about taking it. I wouldn't take it at all, but if it's the only painkiller you have ( Read more... )
