Technology really isn't that scary or horrible once you get used to it. Just give it some time, and if you're getting too worked up figuring it out, do what I do: have a drink. Yes, I did this once while taking my computer apart and took twice as long remembering how to put it back together, but not once did I get frustrated.

It's all about dilly-dallying around all the fancy options and pray that you learn it faster than you actually might. The best thing I can say to you is good luck, but honestly, luck might not have anything to do with it. You're smart, you'll do it.
