Sure it'd been nice to have a sister, even if it'd only been for the weekend and she hadn't found out until the second day, but... if it'd been so nice, why was she so upset now? She didn't get it

Hayley knocked on Elle's door in a hurried fashion. Urgent, even.

"Hey, hey, hey," she said, all antsy outside the door.

Elle blinked up at the door. "Oh, just get in here already," she said, looking back to her homework. She didn't bother to ask who it was because honestly, who ever came to see her besides Hayley?

Hayley entered, shutting the door behind her.

"...I forgot what I was gonna say," she said, pausing with a little befuddled expression on her face.

Well, that got a full-on look from Elle.

"Seriously?" Elle shook her head. "Well, don't think about it and maybe it'll come back to you."
