my dad wants to take me to DC for a vacation. he comes in my room and says how excited he is about it before asking me if i've decided i want to go. how the fuck am i supposed to tell him how much i hate the idea now?? he needs a vacation really bad, i can tell. he really wants to hang out with me and he really needs a couple days off of work. i

a) tell your dad you really do not want to go, how sorry you are, and ask if evan can possibly go in your place (so if he does decide to go he's not so lonely without a son)
b) tell the people you owe money too that you may need some extra time after explaining the entire situation.
hopefully one of these work. if neither do, let me know and ill try to think of another one where everybody wins.
