1. What do you say to smooth over the awkwardness of trying to reconnect?
You say "Hi. How are you? I've missed you and my conversations with you. We can't pick up where we were, but we can be a part of each others life again. I would really like that. Wouldn't you?"

2. They aren't all that interested in re-incorporating you anyways and you can see it in thier body language and hear it in thier tones. Some probably react that way. Others feel just as awkward and adolescent as you might be feeling.

#3 I'm not even going to address because I don't live close enough to have any say about that. Besides, I think he's scared of sordak and me.

I have an essay of sorts I need to write over at MAWUT and would like to link to this. May I. It kind of dovetails with the ramblings my brain is doing.
