Fear of Music, everyone, is my friends band. He is the lead singer and
looks very beautiful in the photograph the NME has featured. I'm so
fucking proud.

Damn that was funny. I seriously laughed, even though I saw it coming. :D
I'm glad you and yours are well.
So what kind of show was it? Stage review? Oh, and the little alien head thingy coming apart is creepy. ;)

The show was this ballet school showcasing its best students. I'm afraid they don’t get great training there and for most of it i sat there cringing. Those kids parents will fork out a lot of money for full time dance education and when you can't see any decent results its a bit harsh.
It was a mixed bill so there was a ballet scene, a bit of contemporary but mostly musical theatre numbers. My favourites included:
The Corsettes - 6 girls in tight pink dresses and big blonde hair do’s, singing, very cute :D
Anything Goes - Many girls in white sailor-skirt outfits, tap dancing, also very cute :D
Fosse - ALL THE GIRLS in black fishnet tights, black leotards and black heeled shoes. :D :D :D
So not much raw talent but they all had nice legs. ;) Yey for nice legs :D
(I’m just a big perve.)

Sounds interesting. I had noticed your icon but I guess I hadn't really snapped to the fact that you danced ballet. My ex-wife did when she was in school (through 12th grade, actually). I can relate to what you're saying about seeing people who just aren't quite getting it. She was pretty good but some of her cohorts were a bit less so.

What’s the age group for being in 12th grade? Is it the same as our 'year 12' which is 17 - 18 year olds?
Yey for nice legs. ;) hehe, it really was the best thing about the show. I can't tell weather it was because the show was that bad or because the legs were that good... hmnn...
