Right now I’m waiting to set off for my first visit to my London halls. I’ve gotta get down there to sign stuff, fill out some forms and give them some money. I’m taking my twister bed sheets with me so if I get there before my roommate I can grab the best bed.

That all sound really exciting, has it not sunk in yet or does it feel like your head is going to explode?

I can understand your worries about your roommate, but chances are whoever it is will be fine with it, not least because they sort of have to be. It's amazing how kind people can be. It won't really matter that you meditate or that you like women because she's going to get to know you beyond that, right?

It's not sunk in yet. there are things that i'm quite used to from going to summer camp every year when i was little so even the moving stuff into my room bit is second nature. it'll probably hit me when something nasty happens and i realise that i can't go home for months.

And i found out that my roommate is aforni. so the stuff i'm worrying about wont happen unless we can't get on and i get a room with someone else. :)
