ok, y'know this whole msn-are-gunna-make-us-all-pay-for-hotmail thing? unless we copy and paste that email that tells everyone? well, how do they know??? i don't understand how they know we've copied that email to all our contacts unless they're reading all our emails.... can somebody who knows about stuff like this please tell me whats going on?

It's just one of those crazy things that people do as some sort of weird joke.

There's no tracker on the thing anyway. Thus, if MSN/Passport/Hotmail were to make their services pay only, then they would send a notification out to all users.
So, unless you get an email like that from the actually hotmail staff.. this it's just bogus.

It's bunk. There have been similar things before
1. Nobody who was stupid enough to forward it had their little man turn blue
2. They arn't gunna make us pay for hotmail. they said in that link the email provided they WERE NOT EVER going to do that, they are going to make us pay for bonus features if we want them, it will be optional, like paid lj accounts.
3.They delete usernames or whatever they're called if an account has been innactive for a certain period anyway, and please run out of usernames :p
anyway yeah, ignore it and delete with enthusiasm.
