Whilst this sounds great in principle, i'm pretty sick of the already abysmal state of my pension fund, without the stocks and shares market taking yet another dive because of a bunch of pissed off shoppers.

I don't want legislation on the internet, we have the freedom of free speech for a reason, but i also don't want to be eating dog food in my old age, other than for pleasure.

I just think a lot of fandoms will die without the internet....plus - i don't want my LJ shut down with nowhere to share my wallpapers.....guess i am being selfish really ;)

maybe you could set up an email tree just in case, it'll probably be years before they can legislate to stop people emailing each other their own work :|

The whole idea of fandoms dying, well i won't get deeper in to that...some need a hose down though.

Yeah, I can refrain from purchasing stuff like that for a month or even longer just to send them that message. I hope they will finally get the message!
