It's a weird thing for me to be happy after staying up all night (by accident) and reading through a lot of old LJ entries and writing a broody-thoughful post (which I screened Private, if any of you monkeys were wondering why you can't read my last entry)-but I am. I'm... happy

Funny, but that's how I feel right about now. Today, and pretty much this whole week, is the anniversary of some *really* bad shit about 3 years back.

It sucked, left a huge scar on me, and took a long time to get out of. Now, well, I'm doing much better for the ride, and learned my lessons.

Plus, if I hadn't hit bottom and lost my car (3 years ago, today, mind you), I'd have never had to move somewhere on a bus line to my work. And if that hadn't happened, I'm not sure I'd have ever met a certain special woman in my life. Sure, she's a crazy lesbian who ran off to Vermont on me, but I love her anyway. :P
