Just came back from the awarding ceremony at the division writing press conference at the La Immaculada Concepcion School. Although I still lament my loss over not placing a rank on the Feature Writing category (unlike last year when I bagged 4th at Feature and 9th at EdCar), I got (a pretty unimpressive) 8th place on Editorial Cartooning. I guess

rofl. awww... that's too bad. i feel your pain. i also won 4th placed in Feature Writing when i was a freshmen what a coincidence? but when i was a sophomore, i didn't win. not even 10th place. D:

but yeah, i guess competetors are getting hard to beat as the years come by.

REALLY? As in you've joined the division presscon before? The first time I joined one was when I was in Grade 5. I'd been assigned to the EdCar category but since our representative for Lathalain (Filipino Feature) was absent, I had to replace her after we found out that there should only be one representative for EdCar. I had no training in that field but I won 2nd place. I was so happy. LOL.

Now, it's like, really hard. People are a lot better now. 4th place would probably be the highest rank I've gotten in a secondary presscon. And it's pretty disappointing too since I'm already in 4th year and I should be better than the little ones yet I'm going backwards. Aaaackkk~
