So, I finished Book 7 about 2:15 this morning. Damn.
I enjoyed the book. A lot. The only times I put it down was to wash my hair, and to make food (because it's much harder for me to concentrate when I'm hungry. Or my hair doesn't feel clean. Don't ask me how that works.)

And you're right about this book being about Lily, finally, and also how Harry seemed more eager to see her this time, instead of James. Which I thought was nice. Especially considering that it was her sacrifice all along that saved him.
Nothing about Snape surprised me, but it was so sad learning about Lily through his memories. Poor Snape. I loved the image of young Snape flapping after them in his overcoat like a bat - nothing changes.
Fred was definitely a shock. The only good thing was that he died laughing.
I think Tonk's mother raises Teddy, because that's where they left him, and Harry says about his going around to theirs four nights a week, so he clearly doesn't live with them. Andromenda's the only close relation he has left.
