Today I lost THE best friend I have ever had. The one person who was always there for me, never judged me and loved me unconditionally. The one who shared my bed, my life and everything. Thank you. I just had to try to share how I was feeling. The pain has disappated a bit, but I feel empty.

I have been there with my own; even if I don't know how you feel, I know how I felt. It is always sad when such a Boon Companion reaches the end of their days.

Yup...that empty numb feeling. The expectation that they are just off on a visit somewhere and will wander in soon going "Wheres my dinner?"

Your kitties are cute as. I love cats but unfortunately start sneezing around them...though that did not stop me cuddling the SO's cat tonight just to feel the thrum of a purr vibrate through me.

I'm sorry Z :-(. When I lost my cat it took me about a month to realize he was gone. Madshuttterbug is right, it's always hard.
