But that aside, I think Caden really fucked up with telling Brian he can't be with Matt. It'll just make him want Matt even more, and his 'job' too.

I know this is 5 years late but I've only recently found slash fiction, and am totally hooked! I hope you see this comment. You have a real talent for telling a story, lovely characterisation and description. I'm really hating Caden for taking advantage of a young and vulnerable Brian, and now not wanting him to have some happiness and love in his life.
Brian/Matt or Brian/Jimmy are my favourite pairings, they're so believable. Well done for writing such a great story!
