Granted, he'd had a bit of excitement there a long time ago, but now it really was a Leisure Hive. I.e., boring. He didn't particularly fancy reliving the memories he had of Romana, either. But despite his coaxing, the TARDIS still wouldn't budge. He stepped out eventually, grumbling under his breath.
He stopped dead in his tracks when he felt a presence in his mind. A presence he never thought he would feel again, because he was the last of his kind. Suddenly, he was very glad his TARDIS was more stubborn than he was.

There was something touching the back of her mind.
A presence.
There was another Time Lord here in the Hive just as she was.
No longer was she paying attention the the people around her. Despite how tired she was the Gallifreyan found herself hastening her pace as she maneuvered her way through the hall and into the closest open area of the facility. It wasn't just any Time Lord presence that felt. It was one that she recognized all too well.

He simply stared for a moment, his eyes haunted and afraid. Afraid that she wasn't real, that she would just disappear if he reached out and touched her.
"Romana?"

And despite the weary look in her eyes she still managed a smile as she drew closer. His expression troubled her but all the same, she was merely relieved to have found someone she recognized in this place. --In a manner of speaking, that is.
"Doctor? Is that really you?"
