[Dwayne stares for a moment and scowls at the attempt to get the book off]

I already tried that. If you didn't notice the big ass fangs nearly puncturing my foot through the leather...? It's one of those damn Care of Magical Creatures books. [He glowers down at the growling book before glaring at May]

It's been attached for ten minutes already, I don't think it's coming off unless it wants to. And don't you dare try a hex or curse on it. Tried that bit last year and it didn't end too well for me. [he shakes his foot and winces as the leather gives a bit more]
