Haha, I love your title! I still need a title! Sad for me.

I can see a lot of different influences in this, and I'm excited to see how it all plays out. The new words aren't too difficult to get a hang of, that's always a plus.

The set up is intriguing, the world is intriguing. Can't wait for more!

And no more scrapping, is bad for you.

Also, the fact that you found a cool word count meter when I failed to find a cool word count meter as a replacement kind of makes me sad inside.

I could suggest a title when I get your NaNo. In the MAIL which is just all kinds of cool. (You know. If you wanted me too.)

I'm glad you see a lot of different influences in this, because mostly I just see Guy Gavriel Kay with a little Jacqueline Carey thrown in for good measure, but I think that's going to be true of any story that is actually trying to mimic real places in history. And I'm glad you're not having trouble with the new words - it means I'm doing something right!

If it makes you feel any better, it took me a long ass time to find that word meter, and may have something to do with my lack of a work ethic one morning and also an ongoing love affair with google.
