(I've heard bits and pieces of how she came to have my doll and how bad she supposedly felt, but as of this moment, she has not mentioned having it to me at all, not even once, and so as far as I am concerned, she stole it.)

I was going to take it up with her, but since she hasn't actually told me she has it, I'm not quite sure how to broach the subject. "Hey, Monica, I've heard that you have my doll and you haven't actually told me that, what's up?" seems like it would come off as a little bit too combative.

Because at this point, I *am* feeling kind of combative about it.

See, I thought I had lost it. So I bought a new one. Only to be told days later by someone who isn't the person who has it that I did not lose it and someone else has it.

Sounds an awful lot like theft to me.
