So in the wake of MoCCA and picking up SO MANY new comics to read, I go off and... buy more books? But it's actually really awesome! There's a super huge book sale that happens every year near where I'm staying right now, where these people take over an entire high school and fill two gyms with tons and tons of old and used books for super cheap!

I've never heard of a history of God, sounds interesting. I've been meaning to read the varieties of religious experience which sounds similiar.

You should check it out, it's a really good book! I read it several years ago, and it effected me pretty strongly. All about the evolution of the three big Judeo-Christian religions, and how they were shaped and evolved by millenia of different socio-political factors into becoming what they are today. And it's written by a former nun!
