Well, it's official. I'm headed to Ohio sometime mid-April for 8 - 10 weeks. I'm going there to visit my family (half-sister and my nephews) and also to go to school ( Read more... )

I'm still having huge doubts about the U of A right now, even though I'm probably going to get pushed into taking a semester there. I'm still looking for a job, though I'm *SERIOUSLY* tempted to try to take as many hours as I can at Quik-Mart or something, since they're hiring like MAD. I've just been iffy about working at a gas station or something.

BTW. For what that program teaches, it's pretty decent. That's the cost of a semester at the UofA, pretty much -- even though it's only a 5 week course, I mean, it seems worth it.

Just makes me wish I could go after my degree in Jazz Studies or something. But I'm nowhere near disciplined enough right now...

I think it's going to be good for you. =)

I'm glad to hear you've found a good way into fulfilling your dreams. I still need a long way to go on mine, but I know I'll get there too.

If Japan taught me anything, the thing it taught me is that I'm still young and there's a lot of world out there. Conquer it while you can ^_^. I wouldn't worry about catching up to life so much, because when you look at things, I'd say you're ahead of a lot of us out there. Hopefully this trade school works out, and then you'll be doing what you've planned to do.

btw, if you're gonna call me tonight, I'll not be answering my phone between 7:30pm-10:00pm-ish. But if you do call between that, I'll call you as soon as I can ^_^
