I'm all packed up and ready to head off to Antheria tonight. It's a tiny con down in Redondo Beach, CA. It's a great location for a small furry con. I wanted to go but honestly it came down to money -- with the holidays coming, it became kinda difficult to justify spending a couple of hundred bucks on a party weekend in LA. Hopefully next year things will improve.

for me its just another califur. i never really seem to have fun at CF. and so now there is another smaller con then it. i should go 1 year just to see it for myself. but im always so dispensation when i goto CF. and i just fear that its gonna be the same thing but with a different name.

I haven't really heard a lot of dissing this year, but of course it got a bad rap for a little while due to its learning curve getting the hotel thing squared away the first time. Beyond that, I haven't heard a lot of politics (if those are out there), ...

You already know this part.. a gathering can usually be made really good by the quality of the attendees and things to do... Even just yakkin' in the bar for a few hours has been nice a few times... and with the con so close, I like to try to get on over and see some folks and give it a chance before knockin' it prematurely... so I hope ta be there, and see ya there too ^v^
