Yay, you faced your fears!! Btw, if I were your friend (right now I consider myself more of an acquaintance interested in your well-being) and I asked you to go ice skating (and I were actually good at ice skating) I would look after you and it wouldn't consider you as holding me back. That's what friends are for! I hope you continue to see the friends you've made even after being a don comes to an end. I also hope you're able to further develop your relationships with some of them and learn to lean on them a little. Support groups are important, especially at this crossroads in your life, and especially if your not quite getting that support from home.
