haven't really updated since i've been back. Then again, I have less time, as i am back at work. *sadface*
I miss my vacation. I want to have it back. I don't want to be at wooooooooooooooork.
I got home friday night, and My Daddy picked me up from the ferry. I just chilled with my sis at home, and we watched a cancelled show called She Spies. its so campy and fun.
Saturday, I spent the afternoon and evening with Sarah! yes, ok, so we talked and texted a lot while i was away, but she's my PERSON and she's moving to Langley (about... a 45 minute drive-ish away), and she'll be working in Chilliwack in the new year. I'm happy that she got the job (she's still with the company, just a completely different position), cuz its what she wanted, but she's one of my best friends, and it'll be kind of weird not to see her everyday. We've all decided that Slacker is going to take care of me while S is in Chilliwack.
But yes, S and I had a lovely time catching up, chilling, going out to dinner and hanging out. I missed her.
I got home around midnight, and my sis was still up, so we watched a couple more eps of She Spies, and Kieran called.
I missed him too. So we chatted for a bit - which was nice, since he and I kinda sort of maybe had plans, but nothing was set in stone, and so it was nice to just hear from him. Drew and I had the same kind of deal, but i didn't want to go to vancouver late at night in the rain. I've never been to Kyle's place before, and knowing me, i would have gotten lost. So i didn't get to see Drewbie either. But we texted, so that was nice too. I missed my Boys. Seriously.
Sunday I had coffee with Poodle, and we caught up for a bit, then i chilled out with my sis some more, then i had dinner with Drewbie at White Spot. Dinner was kind of funny. Well, my glass that had my beverage broke, and spilled all over. I hadn't even TOUCHED it, and it broke. I hate it when they put a cold drink in a hot glass. It got on my jeans, but it wasn't too obvious, i think.
But yeah, me and Drewbie caught up and had some good times. I seriously missed him. It was good just to hang out. But then he had a band thing to go to, so we went our separate ways. I went home and chilled with my sister.
About an hour later, Kieran called and was all, what are you doing? Shit, you're at your dads, aren't you? and I was all, um... you know that its sunday, right? and not monday? Yeah... he was having a bit of an off day. But he picked me up and we went to Blendz. Kind of. We were in the parking lot in his car. The plan was that we were going to get some Hot Chocolate, but we both were content to just hang out and have car talk. I missed him a lot too.
Monday we had dinner at Daddy's. His gf was there, and we ate, then after dinner she and I bonded over babies (her granddaughters and my nieces) while Mares and Dad set up the (fake) tree to decorate. So the 4 of us decorated the tree, and hung out for a bit afterward, enjoying our efforts.
Then it was time to go home, as me and mares had Hawaii Five-0 to watch.
OMG THIS SHOW.
ITS FUCKING AMAZING. I LOVE IT TO DEATH. FOR SERIOUSLY. ITS SO RIDICULOUS AND AWESOME.

(and omg, that little 'Aloha' scene with Kono? was amazing and beautiful.)
KONO BEING A MOTHER EFFING BAMF? SERIOUSLY. I TOTALLY WANT TO BE LIKE HER WHEN I GROW UP. (also? she's the LUCKIEST BITCH ALIVE!!!! like, yeah, she wanted to be a cop, like her awesome cousin Chin, but SHE HAS IT SO MUCH BETTER THAN JUST A COP. SHE HAS 3 FUCKING AMAZING MENTORS. STEVE HAS TOTALLY TAKEN HER UNDER HIS WING (although because of that, her social skills are lacking. but i think its just because she's not used to lying to ppl like that - spur of the moment, i need a good reason to be doing this - type thing. "we're doing water stuff". Oh, Kono. At least TRY to pretend like you know what you're talking about. like... 'we're checking the integrity of the pipes' would have worked too.) AND SHE HAS CHIN AND DANNY TO TEACH HER ACTUAL POLICE PROCEDURES!!! I love Kono's relationship with all of the men. (although, I love the whole, "how insane is this going to be???" "High. HIGH. VERY HIGH" was pretty awesome. I love it how they're learning how to talk to each other. and Danny calling Sang Min 'babe'. And Kono and Chin, in general.<3 <3 <3)
(as a complete and total side note, I love Chin's outfits. All the time. He can wear the UGLIEST hawaiian shirts evar, and still be hot&sexy. it kind of baffles the mind, but not really. His badassness overpowers the... interesting prints that he wears. Not that I didn't like his shirt at the end of the ep, but last weeks? or... the week before? whichever one with the honeymooners? he had a couple of "interesting" prints there. not very flattering, but Chin is The Man, and he pulls it off like no one else.)
(also? I want the scene where Steve see's Danny's tree, and Danny is moping about how awful it is. Cuz they talked about it when they were waiting to talk to Sang Min, and steve is all, your tree is fine! so it makes me think that he saw it. When he picked Danny up probably... Although, on that line of thought, does he drop off his truck at Danny's and then they take his car? or... what?)
