Don't Say Panties (OC, S/S, Fluffy ficlet)

Feb 12, 2006 15:37

A pointless fluffy too-long-to-be-a-drabble that I wrote because Shot!Summer is in too much pain and Italy!S/S are currently sunbathing on the beach and I'm not invited.

Don't Say Panties
Summary: Missing scene from The Heavy Lifting. Seth and Summer simply be cute together.
Rating: PG, probably.

She skips along the beach, her fingers laced in his, sand collecting in her shoes but she doesn’t really care. She’s happy to get away from the party and away from her dad basically undressing Marissa’s mom with his eyes and she’s happy to be with him.

“So, all in all, it was a simple bag mix-up. Very unintended. I didn’t go into my mom’s underwear drawer or anything… Okay. We’re here.”

Summer stops short and looks down at the blanket that’s been laid out on the sand.

“Wow. You sure went all out,” she deadpans.

“I was in a hurry, just -- sit. Please.”

She does, stretches her legs out and kicks off her shoes.

“Summer? I can’t say I’m never gonna lie again. That’d be a lie, and we’ve established that lying is not good,” he says.

Summer crosses her arms over her chest and scowls a little.

“That should make me want to shimmy out of these cheetah panties right now! ”

“I want you to trust me. So, if the napkin isn’t enough…I love you, okay? And I don’t wanna lose you. So if always telling the truth means that, I will,” he says, taking her hand.

She softens a little, a smile begins to creep up on her lips. She kisses him, and they fall back onto the blanket, and she laughs a little.

“Now, what did you say about cheetah print…” he whispers into her lips, unbuttoning her dress.

“Don’t get turned on by your mom’s panties, Cohen.”
