I have tomorrow off. I'm filling out Christmas cards (yes, Christmas, with Christ and mangers and wisemen and mistletoe, etc., etc.), drinking bourbon and Diet Cokes, and watching "It's a Wonderful Life" on Google Video on my laptop. Got my Adobe Audition 3 installed, and finally figured out the inputs/outputs so that it'll record. I had hoped to use the usb "breakout box" supplied by my Behringer mixer...but no such luck. The resident audio card in my computer has digital ins and outs...but my cheapie (and so very useful!) mixer board doesn't do direct digital in/out. So, ( Read more... )

I've bought a honking quad processor HP computer. Yeah, HP. Bleah. But it works nicely, gots lots of gadgets, and I got it for a really good price.

Now to load Adobe CS3 Masterworks, try to pretend I can figure out how it works, and start rockin' in the free world. Yeah baby.
