This is a fascinating story. I'm really enjoying it. I especially like that you describe some of the terms used. It helps me understand more about parts of the story.
I'm looking forward to your next update. : )

Thanks for always commenting my post! You know, I tend to get depressed if nobody does =P Sigh, I am so stupid sometimes...

I know this story isn't easy to read. That is why I usually explain the "hard" parts or words. If something is not clear, anyway, feel free to tell me!^^

Part 3 will be up as soon as I end part 4, which will be longer and will cover the "brokeback" part of our boy story =) ehehehe
A week or two^^

This is a wonderful update. I am fascinated by this story and I love how everything is falling into place; their karma (though that isn't the right term for this particular story, I'm not sure what it is. My apologies) seems to be firmly in place. You're doing a wonderful job. Thank you so much for sharing this.

Uhm, Karma may not be "exactly" appropriate =) but the ancient greeces did believe in a destiny [more in the next chapter!] that was set for everybody. It is the second or third power in the Ancient Greek mithology. Wonders what was first... =P

Awwh thank you for the "wonderful job"... I am all red! ^^

We are in a totally different world right now =)

Thank you^^ I don't think it is easy to set a story in a differnt time and in a different place^^ I am going to get mad searching for greek maps! =P

Ioan is short fo Ioannes, so Johannes, so John and in the end Jack^^ The biblical names [such as Johannes] passed into our tradition trough greek traslations. So, Ioan means litterally Jack, just with other letters^^
And it means "Shout" too =)

ahhhh gotcha. I like the idea it means shout. I mean Jack likes to talk.

I can't wait to see what is coming next. It has been a long time since I read anything Greek

The blue-eyed boy lying in the pastures innocent, sad, bruised, and hopeful. An open spirit playful with his pup, waiting for someone to hear him. The brown-eyed boy astride his horse quiet observant and watchful.

You paint them so well with your words.

blue eyes lost in thought, dried tears over still round checks, now bruised like the body inside the woollen tunic.
He bites his trembling lips, barely suppressed sobs shaking him.

sorry for the delay in answering you <.< I had some RL problems, like my pc deciding to stop working è.é

I have always pictured them like that in their child-years... I wouldn't be surprise if Jack had a puppy =P
