My dad gave me an un-intentional guilt trip, for something that i shouldn't even feel guilty for, as he drove me to school in thye morning. I have never seen him so vulnerable. He just looked at me and said "We're not doing to bad economically, but only god knows how a little bit of extra money would help me. We have had many expenses this month

thats why i didnt buy a class ring...well, that and because i'm poor, but even if i had the money, i wouldnt buy it, but w/e

Its something that i really wanted.. but this month he had to pay $180 and i told him that i was going to pay it and he didn't let me. I want to help but he gets scared everytime he sees me taking a step of responsiblity cause that means that im getting older.. and that " i won't need him anymore".. he doesn't understand.
