Today while I was walking to work, a girl ate it on a patch of ice. I went over to help her and ate it.

My knee bled, but my stockings, miraculously, are unharmed.

How does that work?

Fabric probably simply moved tandem with the ice, which caused the stockings to actually cut your knee instead of them being cut.

I think I phrased that right.
