Okay, I have the choice to take a full sized bed or a twin bed when I leave the house. I have sheets and a mattress protector for both, but I only have a twin sized duvet (and duvet cover). The room I'm moving into can take the bigger bed. A smaller bed will be easier to move. WHICH ONE SHOULD I TAKE.

Definitely the full, especially if you'd think you'd need to upgrade to something bigger than a twin in the next couple years.

Or any guest of any manner, not necessarily the sexy kind! Or if you develop a love for throws, decorative pillows, stuffed animals, you'll have a space for them, dumping fresh laundry on a full bed means more room for folding than a twin, etc etc.

It is always better to have the big bed. More spreading out for you, and sharable for company.

I've had a twin all my life, but personally I would take the full. THEN AGAIN, YOU SAY YOU HAVE, TOO. Do whatever's easiest!

In other words I'm of no help.
