What are those two books about? The titles are very similar to two books I want to put in my to read list. Have you heard of The glass castle. And Half broken horses? They are by the same author, but I can't think of her name right now.

Out stealing horses is about an old man retelling a summer spent with his dad during his childhood. I have yet to start with I capture the castle so I'm not too sure about it.

I heard the glass castle is a good book, and I would definitely like to read it one day, however I haven't heard anything about the other one.

I hope you had a good Christmas!

Did you enjoy the sequels to The Golden Compass? I have the first one. My husband bought me another series of books by Alyson noël " The Immortals", so I've postponed reading The Golden Compass for a little bit. I've seen another book that sounds interesting The glass castle, has anyone read it? Me and my books. My mama says I'm going to turn into a.book. Hopefully it'll be one u
I like. Merry Christmas.

Just when you mentioned "True Grit" I thought, hey you've heard that before. And then I remembered that it came out as a movie now. haha Haven't seen it, yet, but I intend to, as I'm madly in love with Matt Damon. *g*

I'm reading Nora Roberts at the moment, her Ireland trilogy and I'm at the second book now. My boss lent them to me after we had a talk about books, as she likes to read, too. :)

I haven't seen the new movie, but there was an old movie with John Wayne movie that was really good, but I had never read the book until recently and I haven't seen the movie. I do know from the previews of the movie that the character that Matt Damon plays gets his tongue cut out or something messed up with his tongue and that's not in the book, but since I had watched the first movie prior to reading the book, as I read it, I could actually see the people in the movie or atleast the three main characters, it's been too long to remember all the actors. I want to find and watch the old movie again before I watch the new one. Happy holidays ......Suzanne

I read True Grit awhile back and I enjoyed it too. Richard Wheeler is a western writer I enjoy. Lately I've been on a non-fiction kick. Right now I'm reading The Shape of Inner Space. I just finished The 50 Most Extreme Places in the Solar System (which was good) and Bad Science (which was interesting). Be blessed my friend.

HI Suzanne. It was about fkaes and hoaxes people try to pass off as science. It's a pretty easy read. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas my friend.
