This morning was made so much more excellent by the fact that Anna and I stopped by Ula Cafe, where our roomate Rose is an employee, and got breakfast. Their coffee and food is fantastic and they are comitted to fostering a sense of community in JP by making a beautiful space where people can spend time and eat food that is ethically and locally ( Read more... )

Bedazzlers are so terrifying. Totally representative of everything that is fake, plastic and commodified in our current day and age.

Im not as fond of his appearance at the Gainsbourg Tribute, but yes, he's looking precious.

And I agree, it is strange to see them in this new place, when the years of debautchery are behind, but I guess we've been with them over ten years, I've grown up since then too, so I still find myself moving along with them.

Way in the back of my mind I do worry slightly that the next album will try to pander too much to the young, emo-esque movement, fresh baby drummer, bri's long locks back.

But like I said before, though I alwas miss steve (why is it that I feel I always have to clarify that, I think Ive proven enough that Im a fan of his, but I feel like if I say anything positive about the future someone at the comms would pounce on me) anyay, but Im keen to see what the future brings.
