So, while I was having tea with Bill and Katherine today an idea hit. It started off as just having a tea party with croquet or possibly cricket at the apartment. Then, we decided that it should be a victorian style tea party at the apartment which led to a victorian style tea party at centennial park. I personally dig the idea tremendously and will immediately begin research for rules that can be used for the stats of the game and the "combat" system.

We won't likely be able to do realistic looking weapons or physical combat since its a public park and people might find this a little disturbing.

But I'll let you know what I find out.

and just for a change, don't have a combat system.

No killing for a day. Just let people quietly murder, and go insane from the monsters.

No one should survive a good CoC game, unless they are working for the forces of darkness. And even then, they get eaten by Great Old Ones at the epilogue. Do you want a nice Victorian CoC Freeform? I can get a lot of them from the roleplaying circuit back home.

You do kind of need pre-gen characters and a hidden backstory to discover and piece together, otherwise players will runout of things to do. Also GMs who can make shit up to distract too-clever players.
