Spoon!!

I was looking around for a nice tatted spoon, and found one here but no matter how many times I tried, I couldn't get the handle to come out right.

i wanted to put it into a card for a friend who has a chronic condition which doesn't leave her with much energy most of the time. And she could always use more spoons.I really wanted to get it out

That's a lovely pattern -- and the story is wonderful. I sent the link to a friend of mine who has fibromyalgia. I've got Marfan myself, so although I don't have near the problems of someone with lupus, I've definitely got the spoon analogy down ...

Thank you for linking to that - I had never heard of the spoon theory, and even with something that, compared to what other people have, seems trivial (thyroid disease), I can relate to it.

I don't think I've ever wanted to tat a spoon before. :)
